Drinksology Kirker Greer extends its presence across Europe

Drinksology Kirker Greer is extending its presence across Europe, after adding a distribution warehouse in the Netherlands to its network along with offices in Italy to serve its European spirits division, Kirker Greer Spirits EU.

The expansion comes as Kirker Greer Spirits saw a promising 62% increase in sales across Europe during the lockdown.

The facility, which is located in Amsterdam, will serve as a distribution hub to manage increased demand from their customers across Europe and helps guarantee continuity of supply to key European markets during and after the completion of Brexit later this year.

The success across Europe with online retailers such as Amazon Germany and Amazon France along with several new brands occupying major shelf space in multiple retail channels over the last 12 months have all been key factors for the company extending its availability in the region.

Jawbox Small Batch Irish Gin has already seen great success across Europe and Kirker Greer Spirits hope to emulate this success Europe-wide with its other brands, such as Kirker Irish Whiskey, Ginato Gin Classico from Italy, Bowsaw American Whiskey and Grand Kadoo Rum from Barbados. The full portfolio of brands is now available directly to consumers in 30 markets across the EU.

“We are delighted to be expanding in Europe and continuing our work with reputable online and offline retailers,” said Steven Pattison, CEO of Drinksology Kirker Greer. “We are committed to this project for the long term and are hugely excited with the expansion.

“Along with our new distribution hub in Amsterdam, we are also implementing a sales team on the ground in The Netherlands, France, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Sweden to manage direct distribution to multiple retail channels and to also support our on-trade and HORECA distribution partners in the regions.

“It has been a challenging time for the hospitality sector, and we feel it is important to support both our customers and distribution partners by heavily investing in resources on the ground starting in Q4.”
