The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast named AA Hotel of the Year Northern Ireland 2019/2020
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, Belfast has scooped one of the top accolades in the UK hospitality sector, having been named AA Hotel of the Year Northern Ireland 2019-20.
Introduced in 1992, this award is the AA’s ultimate accolade for hotels in the UK. It is awarded to hotels that are recognised as being outstanding examples in their market. From the small family-run hotel to the most ambitious commercial ventures, hotels of every size and style are potential winners.
Ten years ago, The Fitzwilliam Hotel opened its doors for the first time in the heart of Belfast city centre, next door to The Grand Opera house on Great Victoria Street. A luxurious, AA five-star boutique hotel, with 146 design led guest rooms and affectionately known as ‘The Fitz’ by locals, it is the epitome of style and excellence.
