Tacos and tequila taking over!
Filthy’s Secret Garden
Gary Quinn with Jonathan Ross
A Taquitos taco
Local taco truck phenomenon Taquitos will be rolling up to Filthy McNasty’s this May Bank Holiday.
Celebrating the Cinco De Mayo, local chef Gary Quinn will be dishing out the Mexican delicacy in Filthy’s Secret Garden on the 4th and 5th May from 12pm to late.
Taquitos have been delighting locals, tourists and celebrities alike, with TV Star Jonathan Ross recently declaring the “The food was delicious,” as well as tweeting a playful warning, “I’m coming to see you today so get those cooking skills warmed up!”
With Tacos on the menu, the obvious pairing is Tequila; with Filthy McNasty’s offering Margaritas in their Secret Garden across the Bank Holiday Weekend.
Anthony Morrissey, Marketing Manager, Filthy McNasty’s states:
‘Live music, great drinks, and hopefully some sun in the Secret Garden is a recipe for success any day, but there always seems to be a special atmosphere over our big Bank Holiday weekends, with the addition of Tacos and Margaritas, this year could be the best yet.’
Originally commemorating the Mexican victory in the Battle of Puebla, the 5th of May is now most often associated as a celebration of Mexican culture, by ex-patriots across the world.
