TV presenter Pamela Ballantine officially launched the 24th annual Institute of Hospitality Awards for Professionalism 2019 recently at The Loft @ Ten Square, Belfast. Over 100 press and people working within the hospitality sector were treated to a delicious supper, compliments of Ten Square and drinks were sponsored by Great Vines and Molson Coors.
The Institute of Hospitality Awards for Professionalism pays tribute to and recognises the achievements of many committed, passionate professionals in the hospitality industry throughout Northern Ireland. This year’s nominated charity is Leukemia and Lymphoma NI and Joseph Rea the Jewellers in Belfast has very kindly donated a diamond pendant set in yellow gold worth £3,000 to help raise money for the charity at the gala awards ceremony, to be held at Titanic, Belfast on 17 May.
Marianne Hood, Chair of the Institute of Hospitality (NI Branch) is encouraging industry professionals to enter the awards.
