Harmony Live 18 Sunday headliner Ryan McMullan treats fans to intimate festival preview gig
Sunday night headliner at Harmony Live 18, Ryan McMullan gave customers at Garry’s Barber Shop in Holywood an exclusive sneak preview of what fans can expect when he appears on stage on June 3.
The Portaferry singer played a selection of his hits In an intimate setting and whetted the appetite for his appearance in the Harmony 18 marquee.
Mari Jackson, organiser of the festival said the sense of anticipation is growing.
“Ryan’s set last week was a tremendous experience for all” she said: “With just a few weeks to go people in Holywood and beyond are gearing up for what will be the biggest of the shows to date.
“As well as the headline acts we have a packed weekend of entertainment across Holywood and cannot wait to welcome friends old and new to Harmony Live 18.
“We are also delighted to welcome Hop House 13 on board as one of our sponsors of the festival and this event.”
James McKervey from Diageo Northern Ireland, said: “We are really pleased to have our Hop House 13 brand supporting the Harmony Live 18 festival and look forward to what promises to be a brilliant weekend in Holywood in June. At Diageo we are committed to playing our part in helping to expand Northern Ireland’s hospitality and tourism offering and this festival is a great opportunity to do exactly that.”

Other headline shows at Harmony Live 18 come from the Boomtown Rats and Reef.
Garry Jackson, owner of Garry’s Barber Shop added: “Wow! When Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol said Ryan has ‘the voice of an angel’ he was spot on. If this was just a hint of how good Ryan’s set is going to be then you don’t want to miss a second of his show.
“It was an honour and privilege to have him play in my shop and I know everyone who comes along on June 3 will have a momentous evening to round things off at Harmony Live 18.”
Mari said Harmony Live is more than just a music event.
“It’s a weekend that welcomes involvement from throughout the community” she explained, adding: “Putting Holywood firmly on the map as an exciting music and tourist destination the Harmony Live Festival supports the local economy, working with service providers, vendors and contractors in the area and improving the footfall into the town and businesses throughout the weekend.”
