Lough Erne Resort celebrates Ireland’s Hotel Restaurant of the Year Award

Leading five-star destination Lough Erne Resort is celebrating after its leading restaurant, The Catalina Restaurant scooped the title “Ireland’s Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2017” at the prestigious Food and Wine Awards, which took place in Dublin on Sunday night.

Headed up by Executive Chef Noel McMeel, the Catalina Restaurant is Northern Ireland’s first 3 AA Rosette hotel restaurant and its creative and contemporary menus have been designed with the very best seasonal ingredients, which are locally sourced.

The resort celebrates ten years in business this September and recently received the prestigious accolade of Hotel of the Year at another major industry award ceremony, the Licensed and Catering News Awards in June.

Executive Chef Noel McMeel said: “We are delighted to have won Hotel Restaurant of the Year, especially as we celebrate our tenth anniversary.
