The latest in a series of information roadshows promoting a new Tourism NI funding programme at Riddel Hall, Stranmillis was designed to ‘shout’ about the Tourism Event Funding Programme 2016/17, which opens today, with an aim to invite the local tourism industry to apply.

The funding programme will open for tourism events taking place between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017.

Tourism NI has structured the new programme to include an International Tourism Events Fund, a National Tourism Events Sponsorship Scheme and a Year of Food and Drink Tourism Events Scheme.

Roadshows in advance of the opening of the funding programme took place last week at venues in Enniskillen, Armagh, Derry~Londonderry, Belfast and Bushmills.
