Little Wing pizzeria expands its operations, opening its sixth restaurant in Enniskillen

Northern Ireland’s own purveyor of authentic Naples-style pizzas, Little Wing Pizzeria has announced an investment of £250,000 in a new restaurant in Enniskillen, creating up to 20 new jobs.

The major investment will bring the number of branches Little Wing across Northern Ireland to six. The new Enniskillen restaurant, located on High Street will cater for between 50 – 55 guests when it opens this summer.

Established in Belfast in October 2009, Little Wing Pizzeria has gone from strength to strength, selling over one million pizzas in Northern Ireland to date. The Enniskillen branch will open in July and will employ up to 20 new members of staff, bringing the total number of people employed across all Little Wing outlets to 115.

Little Wing prides itself in offering authentic, made to order pizzas using only the freshest toppings, a secret recipe sauce and home-made dough, all at an affordable price.

Commenting at the launch, Luke Wolsey, Managing Director, Little Wing Pizzeria said:

The new Little Wing Pizzeria in Enniskillen will be located at 23 – 25 High Street and will open daily after it opens later this summer.

Catherine MacDonald has been appointed general manager of the new Enniskillen restaurant.

Commenting on the announcement, Catherine said: “Little Wing offers great career progression opportunities and I would encourage people looking for a career in hospitality to get in touch.

“Within two years of joining Little Wing at their Bangor restaurant in 2010, I had progressed to become a supervisor, quickly followed by a further promotion to assistant manager. Having been general manager of the Lisburn Road restaurant in Belfast since the beginning of 2015, I’m relishing the challenge of opening our newest branch in Enniskillen.

“We have invested heavily in both equipment and research in order to provide a taste of Italy in Northern Ireland and some of our ingredients are also sourced from Italy to provide the most authentic and fresh taste.”
